Why ‘The Powder Room’?

Hi, Saleha here. So, when hearing the name and seeing the logo we can be very easily mistaken for a beauty blog, right? That’s what I was going for. Let’s start with the name. Everything and anything happens in the womxns bathroom. From fights, gossip sessions, crying in the stalls, naughty intimate moments and the birth of unexpected friendships. We’re often asked, “why do you always go in groups?”. Well, here’s a slice of the answer. We’re inviting you into the conversations and topics deemed unsuitable for the dinner table. I want this blog to open for everyone and that includes those who cannot be as open as we are. Hence, ‘The Powder Room’ offers discretion. Now the logo, well, it just sort of made sense really.
